The run way at LEAF is 235 ft. x 30 ft. With 4 pilot stations along with many work tables we have ample room for pilots and spectators alike. Members of LEAF enjoy an onsite weather station tied to a cell phone. Members simply call a phone number and receive real time, useful weather information (wind speed, wind direction, temperature, etc..). LEAF also has an onsite charging station. Bring your charger out, plug it in via your alligator clips and charge.

The LEAF field is located just minutes from Longmont and surrounding areas. And only a 30 minute drive from northern Denver and the Fort Collins/Loveland area. The filed is in a prime location right off a maintained county road neighboring Union reservoir.

Getting to the field:

From Longmont: Take Ken Pratt Blvd (Hwy 119) East to east County Line Road (CR-1). Take County Line north to CR-26. Head east on CR-26 approximately 1/2 mile. LEAF is on the right (south) side of the road across the street from the beach at Union Reservoir.

From I-25: take hwy 119 (Longmont exit) west to East County Line Road (CR-1). Take County Line north to CR-26. Head east on CR-26 approximately 1/2 mile. LEAF is on the right (south) side of the road across the street from the beach at Union Reservoir.
